State of the DAOs — July 20th
As tracked by DeepDAO, there are now nearly 20k DAOs — a very impressive number. Plus, we just hit 7 million DAO members last week and now there are already 7.1M, with DAO treasuries also growing. On the other hand, only 1.6% of DAOs have 100+ active members, the lowest in a while.

Aave has officially launched its GHO stablecoin amid concerns by some that it merely added to the stablecoin noise by essentially cloning USDC and DAI. Separately, Aave is moving forward with introducing a StrategicAssetManager smart contract to manage Aave’s veBAL holdings and later other strategic assets.
BitDAO has officially ratified the establishment of its Mentle Eco(system)Fund with a $100M treasury allocation.
Arbitrum DAO agreed to form the Pluralistic Grants Program with a 3.971 ARB grant. The program will be stewarded by the Plurality Lab team for the first year.
ApeCoin DAO has a proposal to use its impressive IP and $300k to expand its ecosystem into animated series and comic books.
The Star Atlas blockchain game has its first DAO proposal, focused on the official ratification of the governance framework.
